研究概况
长期从事高性能计算机体系结构、并行算法和系统,存储系统,大数据和人工智能处理平台的研究与教学工作。提出可扩展的存储系统结构及轻量并行的扩展机制,发展了存储系统扩展性理论与方法,率先研制出具有自主知识产权的国产网络存储系统。提出高容错纠删码的轻量编码方法及数据快速自愈模型,拓展了提高存储可靠性的技术思路。在国内率先研制并成功应用集群架构的高性能计算机。长期讲授计算机系统结构课程,编写和出版相关教材和专著10本。
曾获国家科技进步奖一等奖、二等奖,国家发明奖二等奖,何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖等。2016年获ACM戈登.贝尔奖。2008年获国家级精品课程。
